Browse our wide variety of soldering & casting equipment & create amazing jewellery pieces.
Soldering is a technique commonly used in the production & repair of jewellery. Browse our selection of soldering equipment used for melting & joining metals by using a third-party solder.  We stock argentium solder in strip form & silver solder in blocks, rodspaste!

With the advent of high-frequency melting & a host of other technologies, jewellery casting is more dynamic than ever. Torches are essential for melting different metals. Save up to 10% on our Art, DREMEL,
Butane gas torches & more.
Most jewellery casting is done through the lost wax process, whereby models created through wax carving, wax injection moulds, or printing are encased in a plaster-like medium known as investment. The investment is heated to extreme temperatures to incinerate (burn out) the material, creating an impression of the
desired form. We stock various types of investment powders, each one producing a different result :

Advantage investment is an economical alternative for casting silver, brass & bronze while reducing excess metal & watermarking defects for dependable casting results & maximum profits.

Ultravest investment produces consistent results for casting gold, silver, brass & bronze while being the most process-forgiving product available for casting – saving casters time & money.

Plasticast investment is ideally suited for the investing & burnout of commonly used plastic or wax/plastic pattern materials. This investment type maintains mould surface & dimensional integrity while providing a smoother, cleaner casting surface not obtainable with standard brands of investment.

Astrovest investment is used with high-temperature alloys & is an ideal choice for casting platinum & stainless steel. The investment produces fin-free castings with meticulous reproduction of detail & quality material that enhances the beauty of your work.

Wax usage is a major component of the jewellery casting process. We stock a wide variety of wax, such as wax tubes, blocks, sheets & wire spools.  Our waxes are guaranteed to burn out cleanly from the mould.

Wax tubes come in three variations & are used for making rings, which are carved, sawn, drilled & filed. Blue Ferris flat-top, off-centre & true round wax tubes are ideal for models with extensive piercing or thin exposed sections.

Wax Casting Sheets are rolled to highly accurate thicknesses & can be formed to any shape & are easily cut with carving blades. Drawings & tracings can be made directly on the sheets. The sheet thickness varies , pink for soft & green for hard.

Our wax wire is ideal for adding sprues to wax patterns & for wire-based designs. Select between various wire thicknesses up to 20 gauge & diameters up to 1.25mm.
Use quality injection wax to ensure item injection is perfectly crisp & smooth, Varieties in melting point, shrinkage & detail are part of our range. Our blue injection wax is the most flexible & red injection wax is used for designs with
the most detail, while aqua-green wax is the most popular type, as it
serves as an all-purpose injection wax.
Clay casting is a highly refined form of casting that captures intricate detail when used correctly. Casting clay sand provides a remarkably sharp & detailed casting in gold, silver, copper-based alloys & pewter, resulting in castings requiring very little finishing work. Our casting clay is reusable & cannot
dry out ( if stored correctly) due to its special composition.

Get quality casting clay & cylinders to produce only the best results.
Our graphite crucibles are made from fine-grain graphite, this assists with the
anti-oxidation. It has many advantages, widely used in melting aluminium, copper, gold & silver alloys, to be used to make & combine jewellery.

Our ceramic crucibles are also used to heat up materials to extremely high temperatures & melt metals while smelting copper, brass, silver, gold or platinum . These crucibles, from round to square, are made up of raw minerals, including silica, zircon, spinel, alumina & magnesite.

We stock many different shapes & styles of crucibles
& other soldering tools. Get 10% off our selection of crucibles, holders & more.
