Are you having problems seeing small items clearly or need any sort of aid to increase light & magnification? Are you confused trying to decide which magnifier to buy, there are so many options!!!! Let us simplify things for you.

Size, Magnification, LED or Flourescent lamp, table top, hand held, bench clamp......let us help you make the right decision for your trade or hobby!

LED or Normal bulb?

Like incandescent lamps & unlike most fluorescent lamps (e.g. tubes & compact fluorescent lamps or CFLs), LEDs come to full brightness without need for a warm-up time, the life of fluorescent lighting is also reduced by frequent switching on & off.

LED light bulbs can last anywhere from 20,000 to 50,000 hours, or up to five times longer than any comparable bulb on the market. But that combination of efficiency and durability has historically come at a cost. LEDs cost more money than CFLs and incandescent bulbs.
Linen tester with LED:
This lighted unit folds out, is portable & features a magnifier of 11.5x power with 15mm lens. The dual lens design provides, clear, distortion-free viewing, while a super bright LED light illuminates the object. Marked in both inches & millimeters for measuring small objects. Ideal for many trades such as grading, printing, textiles, botany, entomology &  jewellery
The Magnifying glass is one of the most ancient optical (related to the eye) devices known to science. Most magnifying glasses are double-convex lenses & are used to make objects appear larger.

Magnifying power is how much larger a given lens can make an image appear. This is a direct relationship between the focal length of the lens & the least distance of distinct vision.

The
focal length of the lens is the distance between the lens & the image sensor when the subject is in focus, usually stated in millimeters (e.g., 28 mm, 50 mm, or 100 mm). In the case of zoom lenses, both the minimum & maximum focal lengths are stated, for example 18–55 mm.
