2 Tube Work / Diamond Lamp Daylight light 2x15 Watt tubes G-clamp desk mountable. For diamonds and other trade work.
In the gem trade, the term light performance is used to describe how well a polished diamond will return light to the viewer. There are three light properties to light performance: brilliance(white light reflections from the external and internal facet surfaces) , fire (spectral colours which are produced as a result of the diamond dispersing the white light), and scintillation (small flashes of light that are seen when the diamond, light source or the viewer is moved).

| Worried about losing stones in your sonic or in a rush? |
The answer is to use a zip lock bag- perhaps small items can be lost in the sonic and might take you ages to fish out! Or stones could fall out of a fragile piece that needs re tipping and maybe you in a mad rush and cannot wait for the sonic to heat up to get that lifetime of “gunk” out of a ring- speed up the process by adding a touch of hot water into the zip lock bag- put your item into the zip lock, seal and switch the sonic on. You will notice this hastens up the loosening process, keeps all your bits and pieces in one bag!

| Even heat whilst soldering a thin and thick object together: |
I am sure you have battled with soldering a small wire onto a thicker much larger object and by the time the large object is heated and gets the solder flowing the small wire has melted into a ball! The trick is to use a charcoal block- Remember charcoal absorbs heat- So with your torch heat up an area on your charcoal block until it glows ,then put the large item onto the pre heated area so it warms it from below. The end result is having a more even flow of heat.
