PLATING ANODES

In jewellery plating, the correct anode material is crucial for the success of the plating process. Selecting the appropriate anode for each specific plating solution ensures the quality & stability of the deposit, enhances the efficiency of the process, & helps prevent contamination, leading to the desired results.

PEN PLATING

Pen plating involves the use of a brush-tipped pen to selectively plate specific areas of an item. This method is ideal for items with intricate details, though it is not suitable for large-scale applications. The plating probe is coated with the pen plating solution. All preparation steps required for bath plating must also be adhered to in pen plating. Proper cleaning of the item is essential, & it is crucial to use separate pen nibs for each different plating solution.
