Eye-loupes are great tools for professionals that do precision work, from jewellers to watchmakers. These magnifier loupes come with different levels of magnification. The singlet lens has 1 lens, the doublet lens has 2 bonded lenses & the triplet has 3 bonded lenses. These different lenses determine the pricing difference between singlets, doublets & triplet lenses. The three interspersed lenses in a triplet eliminate fringe distortions otherwise known as aberrations. What this means in simple terms is the subject material will be in crisp focus throughout the field of view from the centre to the peripheral “edge” of the field of view.
