This month we focus on pliers and how they can help us behind the bench, be it bending those very thick metal shanks or trying not to mark and scratch them either. We have a few new items and fresh stocks that might help you out:

Used for bending ring shanks. Jaws can be polished further and covered with leather to avoid marring rings.

These adjustable ring bending pliers are ideal for making ring shanks, bracelets or for forming unusually shaped metal pattern that have curves. The metal is bent gradually as it is slowly fed between the moveable jaw and the stationary center rod.

A nice strong grip, robust handles, jaws move parallel.

Perfect for when you need grip, it also has a groove on one side for drawing wire.

Nylon jaw pliers will not mar, nick, or mark your precious wires and metal sheets. They are specially manufactured for non-scratch shaping, sculpting, wrapping craft wire, jewelry wire, color coded wires, soft wires.

The small unit is good for loops and small rings up to 10mm inside diameter. The large unit is good for making ladies and gents rings. Very little tapping is necessary and half round wire will not twist, scratch or deform.
